Custom fournitures in Cap Ferrat

About the project

The owner of this magnificent villa in Cap Ferrat, who has a great passion for design and art, wanted to enrich her interior with unique pieces designed to enhance the spaciousness of her large living room while respecting the existing harmony.

A load-bearing pillar was located in a fairly central position, so a solution had to be found to integrate it.

Design

The owner’s desire to display art objects quickly led us to consider a bookcase that could incorporate the pillar.

However, it had to be visually light yet stable, given the large distance between the back wall and the pillar.

Design

It was therefore necessary to provide intermediate supports, which were made of stainless steel to ensure a light appearance.

Again for the sake of lightness, the shelves were designed in white lacquered wood, with a refined section at the edges.

Design

LED lighting was integrated into the centre of each shelf to highlight the objects on display and also to create a warm atmosphere.

Design

The request also included a niche, which was located near the pillar and needed to be enhanced.

Three-dimensional frames of the same depth as the niche were designed to showcase two of the owner’s works of art.

A suspended TV cabinet was also part of the request.
